This week has been a boom of colour here in the North west of England. Summer finally came and suddenly there are bright clothes, flowers and lush green salads everywhere.

LONG TIME NO SEE !!

Hey everyone !

Yes i know it’s been a while since i blogged. I have been keeping up to date with all my beautiful followers and have loved reading your new posts. What have i been doing ? Well over here it’s been quite busy. We moved into our current home 12 months ago as our family had a new addition, so we needed the extra space.

We love the new house but we have had some troubles with various things lately.

Firstly our cooker gave up the ghost, which is a big blow considering everything we eat is home cooked. A new cooker was quickly bought but had a few teething problems a few months ago and had to be repaired !

Then came the rain, which for the North West of England is nothing strange, but the leak on the kitchen roof was causing major problems. A lot of money was wasted as it leaked 3 times, each time soaking the food in the cupboard underneath !

We also had a similar leak in the bathroom which came in through the light fitting!

This week we prepare for central heating to be put in throughout the whole house ! floorboards have to come up and furniture moved !! it’s going to be busy but i promise to update more regular (fingers crossed)

Anyways i have been up to various things and here are a few pics i hope you like.

Owls and absense!

My new found love of crochet owls.. apologies for the absense, still working on best way and find a little quiet time to do my tutorial. Not easy with kiddies at home as i dont have much freetime during the day, but determined to find time this week.

Freeform tutorial in progress

Hi all, i have been absent lately mainly because i had a killer migrane at the beginning of the week and crochet was the most brain melting thing i could do, but i have also been working on a tutorial for you all.
As this is my first ever tutorial i wanted it to be right. Above is a picture of something i will be making in the video. Its going to be a freeform necklace and will look unique for everyone who wears it.
I also want to say a big, big thank u to all the followers new and old who have sent lovely messages on the work i post. You dont know how much it means to me to have u follow my little blog.xx

Strange freeform creation

I ve had a small break this weekend but came up with this little creation. It is a freeform tube with large orange beads set into it. It looks very strange but i love it and will be doing a tutorial on it later this week.
